Sitting on a 107-inch wheelbase, it measures 183.1 inches, perfect for nipping around urban settings. A range of stylish alloy wheel options is offered. Sporting a powerful 175-horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder engine, the 2023 Equinox receives five more horsepower this year. In addition, a six-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel-drive system handle power delivery. For 2023, Chevrolet replaced the vacuum-assisted braking system with the E-Boost electronic assist system.
The EPA estimates for the all-wheel-drive Equinox are 25 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway. This is a decent performance, given that it’s not a hybrid or plug-in hybrid.
