The Chevrolet Blazer is a competent two-row midsize SUV that offers buyers a blend of practicality, comfort, and space, coupled with the iconic Chevrolet bowtie emblem on the nose. Introduced in 2018, the Blazer has seen incremental improvements every year, with the mid-life facelift coming for the 2023 model year.
Thus, the 2023 Blazer receives revised exterior styling and new alloy wheel choices. The choice of colors offered across the range is also broadened. Moreover, the interior receives a 10.1-inch touchscreen, a wireless charging pad, and a standard remote engine starter across the range. However, the choice of powertrains remains as with the 2022 model.
Four trims are on offer for the 2023 model year:
Are you looking for a 2023 Blazer to put on your driveway? If so, call the team at Jay Hodge Chevrolet in Sulphur Springs, TX. We’ll explain everything you need to know about the 2023 Chevrolet Blazer. We can also arrange a test drive for you to experience the vehicle in person.
The 2023 Blazer’s interior remains unchanged from the 2022 model year, which is no bad thing. The only change of note is the new 10.1-inch touchscreen for the infotainment system. The dash features a quirky design that sees the dual-zone climate control temperature knobs fringing the center air vents.
Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ are standard across the range, as are a powered driver seat, six-speaker sound system, active noise cancellation, air filtration system, cruise control, and sliding rear seats. Moreover, heated front seats are standard on 3LT trim onwards. An 8-speaker Bose premium sound system is optional, as is a wireless phone charger.
The 2023 Blazer sees a new grille design and fresh headlamp clusters. These give it a distinctive variation from the previous model year. But the side profile remains largely unchanged, save for a choice of new alloy wheel designs. At the rear, the 2023 Blazer receives refreshed tail lamp clusters. Available alloy wheel sizes range from 18 inches to 21 inches.
The 2023 Blazer range also sees the color range expanded to eight, adding three new colors.
The 2023 Chevrolet Blazer offers a choice of two engines, depending on trim. The default choice is a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. This is standard on the 2LT, 3LT, and Premier trims.
For those who want more, there’s also a 3.6-liter V-6 on offer. This engine develops 308 horsepower and 270 pound-feet. This is standard on the RS but optional on the 3LT and Premier.
Regardless of engine choice, the sole transmission is a nine-speed automatic with front-wheel drive. However, the RS does offer a twin-clutch advanced all-wheel-drive system as an option.
The towing capacity of the four-cylinder model is rated at 1,500 pounds. But choosing the V-6 and all-wheel-drive system increases the capacity to an impressive 4,500 pounds.
The 2023 Blazer offers a compelling value proposition for a small family. Why not swing by Jay Hodge Chevrolet in Sulphur Springs, TX, and see how it can enhance your lifestyle? One test drive is all it takes, and you could drive home in a 2023 Blazer.
