Attend the 2017 Kaufman Scarecrow Festival in Kaufman, TX

From October 27 to October 28, be sure to attend the 2017 Kaufman Scarecrow Festival. The festival is free and will be located in Kaufman’s historic town square. There will be great music, Marionettes, a parade, floats, a fun area for the kids and more! There is a lot of exciting talent that is will be performing on the stage and you don’t want to miss any of it. Check out the details of this amazing event below.

For the Kids

Street performers will be in attendance of the festival to give the kids a show they won’t soon forget. The types of performers include magicians, circus acts, dancers and others! There will also be a dragon float, wheel spinning rides, and a big over the road tractor truck that holds an exhibit for them to climb through.

Main Stage Events

Kadie Lynn will be performing country rock Friday evening, October 27 at 9 p.m. She is a singing phenomenon whose performance is highly anticipated, due to her ability to amaze and dazzle crowds.

The Gimbles will also be performing that same evening, keeping us upbeat with their Texas swing at 7 p.m.

Saturday’s performers will include: Chip Murrey & The Texas Underground, starting things off with some good Country Rock at 11:30 am., The Vinyl Stripes with their unique Classic Rock and Doo-Wop at 1:00 p.m., Anne and Steve with Blues at 2:30 p.m., and Aztex with a mix of latin and rock at 4:00 p.m.

Local Talent Stage

The local talents will perform starting Saturday, October 28.

The Kaufman High School drum line will perform at 10:00 a.m. and get us started for the day with some good old fashion band moves and music.

The Elites will perform at 10:30 a.m. right afterward.

An hour later, there will be more dancing with the Dance Factory.

Next up will be Brandon Bramburg at 12:30 p.m. He performs again at 3:30 p.m.

Learn some kung-fu moves when the Williams Martial Arts group performs at 1:00 p.m.

Finally, the KISD Show Choir will perform the “Mane Attraction” at 2:30 P.M. Also, try to make one of the Marionettes performances, Saturday at either 1 or 3 P.M.

There will be so many things for you to do in the small town that weekend and you will be given the opportunity to give blood at a community drive.
