The 2025 Chevy Suburban can accommodate up to nine passengers, with a three-person bench seat available for the front row on the LS trim. However, the majority of trims have an eight-seat arrangement. Installing a pair of captain's chairs in the second row lowers passenger capacity by one. The redesigned cabin includes an 11-inch digital instrument cluster and a sharp 17.7-inch central touchscreen, modernizing the dashboard.
The higher trims include a powered center console that can move from the front to the rear. This feature brings the cup holders closer to the back seats. Thanks to an adjustable cushion, the armrest can stay in place. The console also has cup holders and safe storage. This feature is available in all lower trims except the LS.
Second-row passengers have 42 inches of legroom, the same as the Tahoe's, and third-row passengers have 36.7 inches.
The Suburban can fit up to nine carry-on bags. Behind the 60/40 split-folding third row, it offers 41.5 cubic feet of space, which expands to 144.5 cubic feet when the second and third rows are folded. The flat and low-load floor also adds convenience.
The 2025 Chevrolet Suburban features a new front fascia, and each model has distinct design characteristics. The Z71, for instance, has unique skid plates and a high-approach front end. Meanwhile, the High Country has a more sporty/luxurious design with black and Galvano chrome external detailing. In addition, the Premier and High Country models come with animated swiping turn signals and standard welcome and walk-away lighting animations.
Base models come with 18-inch wheels, while the RST and High Country trims have options for 24-inch wheels.

The Suburban's base engine is a 5.3-liter V8 that produces 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. The RST, Z71, and Premier trims offer a 6.2-liter V8 engine that produces 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. The top High Country trim level also comes with this as standard. A 3.0-liter inline 6-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine with 305 horsepower and 495 lb-ft of torque is available in all but the Z71.
A 10-speed automatic transmission is connected to all three engines. Rear-wheel drive is the default configuration. In the Z71, four-wheel drive is either standard or an option. The smaller V8 engine in the RWD version allows for a maximum towing capacity of 8,300 pounds.
